The design objective was to create a very special environment using the metaphorical qualities and humor from the “Googie Style” period. Googie architecture was originally born out of the post-WW2, Southern California, car-culture and then spread to other areas of the country evoking such images as Disney’s Tomorrowland and the George Jetson cartoons.

To capture the essence of the expressive and delightfully fun Googie Style, bold angles, boomerang forms, special glass, sweeping cantilevered roofs and pop-culture colors are used throughout. Dr. Greek’s authentic Googie Artwork and memorabilia are showcased in the lobby and exam rooms.
