Imperial Point Animal Hospital - Deerfield Beach, FL

The Owner of this facility wanted to create a chain of new animal hospitals that could be franchised throughout South Florida. This goal necessitated the design of a "signature" building with specific forms, details and materials that could be repeated and thus recognized by surrounding clients. These "signature" elements included the glass block barrel vault roof over the Waiting Area, the red clay tile pyramid roofs, and the indigenous "boca-pink" stucco with turquoise accents. Although only two of these hospitals were ultimately built, they quickly became tremendous magnets, drawing clients from great distances. Above the hospital is a private residence intended for a senior member of the staff.
