Located in a small resort town on Cape Cod, this project included a partial renovation of the existing hospital, plus a major addition that nearly tripled its original size. A primary design objective was to adhere to the strict architectural vernacular of Cape Cod. The design harmonizes with the local architecture through the use of traditional materials and details.
Pleasant Bay Animal Hospital has recently changed ownership. rfa is currently working with the new Owner on plans to complete the original renovation and to modify the facility to reflect new practice philosophies and priorities.
