This 6,580 SF renovation is in reality one building yet with two distinct components, Boston Veterinary Specialists (BVS) and Dedham Veterinary Associates (DVA). BVS is a well known specialty veterinary hospital and DVA is a general veterinary practice. In response to an extremely constricted and steeply sloping site, the Project contains two levels with on-grade access at the lower level in the front and on-grade access to the upper level in the rear. An elevator serves both levels. A half-round, blue-glass canopy marks the entry and exit with a sunburst pattern of alternating rays of sandblasted and clear glass |
