As part of its substantial involvement in the creation of the Copley Place Retail Mall interiors, rfa designed several retail shops in addition to the Copley Court area, the Stuart Street Entry Complex and Arne's Seafood Restaurant. One of rfa's retail stores is the well-known Artful Hand Gallery. Located on the main shopping level, this museum-quality crafts store (intended for local and national artisans) has built a reputation for presenting the finest in hand crafted objects.
The artisans' work is displayed with specially designed lighting and architecturally enhanced backdrops that reinforce the special qualities of the exhibited pieces.
